How to laundry you clothes in an organic way
Use a washing machine, it is much more water-efficient than washing by hand and incomparable regarding the time spent. However most of the products used in washing machines are harmful for health and environment and unnecessarily expensive.

Washing powder
Recipe 1: coconut oil-based soap or tallow soap with washing soda by mommypotamus.
Recipe 2: olive oil-based soap (castile soap) with white distilled vinegar, baking soda and washing soda by the blender girl. Avoid using borax. It appears in many recipes for homemade cleaning products but the debate about its safety is inconclusive and it raises serious health concerns. You don’t need it anyway. If you cannot buy washing soda, you can make it from baking soda.

powdered oxygen bleach (sodium percarbonate)
Softener
White vinegar 10%
Stain remover and de-greaser
Lemon essential oil directly on the stain
Tumble dryer
Wool dryer balls for shortening drying time
