#StewardsOfTomorrow

So what about Stewards of Tomorrow – what do we mean by this term?

  • A steward is a person who is tasked with a responsibility – to take care of something or somebody and to manage the property of another person. In this case, we mean a Steward is a person tasked with taking care of our planet – managing the property of the future generations, both on behalf of them and all other species.
  • Tomorrow is the day after today – right here right now.

Which kind of generation do we leave behind for our planet?

It is here where the Stewards of Tomorrow enter. The planet needs human beings that will look after – take care of the planet. The planet is not our property –  not the property of the population that lives on the planet right now. The planet belongs to microorganisms, to ecosystems, to all the different spices. The planet needs the next generations to take care of symbiotic living. Tomorrow is not far into the future – no! It is actually now.

It is important for Stewards of Tomorrow to train the understanding of the principles of ecology. The learning that life has been and is evolved by symbiotic living is fundamental. The understanding of nature by using the senses is also important. By simply walking, swimming, biking and listening to the nature and getting close to the things we want to learn about and see. By the beauty and diversity in the nature. This is valuable in order to be part of planet protection.

It is important for the Stewards of Tomorrow to study and understand how human beings, especially the last 50 years, have destroyed the circle of life and then to study and find ways to build up an Ecological Civilisation.
